Spinflo, the leading British manufacturer and supplier of hobs, cookers, ovens, sinks and gas fires, became a division of Thetford in 2005. Having served the UK Holiday Home, Touring Caravan and Motor Home markets for over 20 years, it is now time for Spinflo’s cooking aplliances to hit the European market with the complete new Continental Range.
In-depth research to meet European needs
After the acquisition in 2005, Thetford and Spinflo have continuously invested in in-depth research, innovative technology and distinguishing design specifically for the European (continental) market, as the demands from both customers and caravan / motor home manufacturers differ considerably between the continent and the UK. With the introduction of Thetford’s new Continental Range, the continent now has cooking appliances that have been specifically designed to meet the expressed wants and needs from both European consumers and manufacturers.
The Basic line: meticulously designed mid-range cooking appliances
The economical Basic line consists of a hob and bowl, available in contemporary triangular and rectangular models. This Basic line has been specifically developed to meet important European consumer demands, such as it needing to be easy to clean and to have a functional design. Cleaning the hob is extremely easy, thanks to the easily removable, one-piece pan rest and the sufficiency of space between the controls. In addition, the Basic line can accommodate 3 normal sized pans, has domestic sized knobs, and the optional 2.5 KW rapid burner makes cooking faster, easier and more enjoyable during camping holidays.
The Basic line also offers manufacturers the option of customising the hob’s glass lid to any pattern, colour or logo they desire. This is what we call “freedom of choice”.
Top line hob meets the most demanding requirements for top of the range campsite cooking
Alongside the Basic line, Thetford introduces a higher range hob, appropriately named the Top line hob. This hob, also redesigned and adjusted to European market needs, features a contemporary design, thanks to the unique and easy to clean glass hob. This top of the range hob also offers optimal use of space and provides a home cooking experience, thanks to the 2.5 KW rapid burner.
For manufacturers, the customisation possibilities for the Top line hob are virtually unlimited as both the glass lid and the glass hob are customisable. Thetford gives manufacturers the freedom to chose different patterns, colours and logos to even better distinguish their brands and optimally adapt the hob to the mobile kitchen surroundings.
