Having celebrated the 5th anniversary of its refrigeration factory, Thetford is now proud to announce the launch of the innovative “Frameless Door” for refrigerators.
No frame, that’s the game …
The Frameless Door is an innovative door panel suitable for Thetford Deluxe line and Premium LCD line absorption refrigerator cabinets*. What makes this Frameless Door so unique to Thetford is that it has virtually no frame. Whereas until now most refrigerators have significant plastic frames, the visible plastic parts on the Thetford Frameless Door have been brought down to a minimum, giving the refrigerator a stylish, modern look that would fit nicely in any designer kitchen!
Unlimited customisation possibilities to suit any kitchen design
With the Frameless Door, Thetford does not only meet the consumer need for a contemporary and more home-like refrigerator in their recreational vehicle: The caravan / motor home manufacturers also have the advantage of less handling, as the Frameless Door is already a completely finished product and can be installed directly into the mobile kitchen. Moreover, Thetford gives these manufacturers the freedom to harmonise the refrigerator’s exterior with their complete kitchen design. Having minimised the plastic frames we have in turn maximised the surface of the door panel. For manufacturers, the customisation possibilities for this maximised door panel are virtually unlimited, as Thetford gives them the freedom to choose different patterns, colours and logos to even better differentiate their vehicles and optimally adapt the refrigerator to the mobile kitchen surroundings.
Reactions from the market have been very positive and some important manufacturers have already committed to building this innovative refrigerator design into their 2008 caravan / motor home models.
