The launch of the brand new C-250 Cassette Toilet is good news for all caravan and motor home owners. The successor to the original C-200 which was Thetford’s first permanent, swivel-bowl toilet for caravans and motor homes, has now been seriously improved in functionality, design and optional features.
Exciting features facilitating daily use
The C-250, with its contemporary design, has several exciting new and improved features. The standard C-250 model is equipped, like the C-200 models, with a toilet bowl that can revolve 180 degrees to experience optimal comfort without losing any space. Now this swivel bowl’s seating comfort has been considerably improved: the bowl width and depth has been adjusted to provide maximum comfort, based on consumer research. Also, the standard model has a waste holding tank on wheels and a pull-out handle to allow ease of handling when taking the tank to a waste-dump location on the campsite.
Unique optional features to suit all tastes
Alongside these improved standard features, the C-250 offers some new and unique optional features. For example, the C-250 can be upgraded with an electric blade and an automatic ventilator that draws off bad smells from the waste holding tank to the outside of the vehicle. In addition, the C-250 optionally features a user-friendly control panel, indicating the levels in the waste holding tank and/or flush-water tank. This means no more unpleasant surprises for you, as the control panel tells you in time when to empty the waste holding tank, or to re-fill the flush-water tank.
To top all this, the new C-250 has a unique Waste Pump-Out System, making it possible to (automatically) transfer the waste from the waste holding tank into the vehicle’s waste tank. Ideal when you go camping for a longer period as you don’t have to empty the waste holding tank every few days. The Waste Pump-Out System gives you the advantages of a Cassette Toilet without having the disadvantages of the a regular toilet, such as flushing-noise nuisance at night, and when going on short trips, you always have the choice to only use the waste holding tank.
Upgradeable by both manufacturers and consumers
The good thing is that not only manufacturers can add these unique optional features to the standard model. Consumers also have the choice to upgrade their C-250 model with the options that they desire to enhance comfort and functionality even further.
As you can see, with so many beautiful new additions the C-250 has all the ingredients to become a very worthy successor to the C-200!
