Thetford, most famous for its mobile cooling units and sanitary systems, and Heijboer Transport, one of the largest hauler companies in the south of the Netherlands, are now both more visible on the road! Last week, two of Heijboer’s trucks delivering Thetford goods to UK customers, were fitted with eye-catching Thetford tarp. It has been 21 years since the two companies started working together to supply the British market with the best products for caravans, motor homes and the leisure time enthusiasts themselves.
Mr. C. Heijboer, president of the company bearing his name, notices that Thetford’s transport volume to the UK has strongly but steadily grown over the years. Since 2002, the success of the Thetford refrigerator range is clearly visible. “It is great to share this deal of success between two Etten-Leur based companies” he says.
Mr. Stefan Schuyleman, Thetford Marketing Manager Europe, emphasizes that with customers increasing their professionalism, logistical requirements are on the rise too: “Our customers are not interested in keeping stock, they ask us to deliver our toilets, doors and refrigerators to their assembly lines using the so-called Just In Time method. Our cooperation with Heijboer meets these expectations and our reliability is a great base for further increase of our market share.”
Next to these two trucks on the Dutch and British roads, more Heijboer trucks will be fitted with Thetford tarp. Thetford products on their way to satisfied customers will become more and more visible for campers on the road…
