After continuous development and market research, Thetford is proud to announce that it has been officially confirmed that the important German Environmental Certificate “Blaue Engel” (Blue Angel) has again been awarded to Thetford Aqua Kem Green (toilet additive for the waste tank) and Aqua Rinse (toilet additive for the flush-water tank). Thetford is the only supplier in this market that has approved products for both the flush water as well as the black water.
The “Blaue Engel” is awarded by the German Federal Environmental Agency to those products that meet the stringent criteria with respect to the environment and, specifically in the case of these products, the suitability for being used in normal circumstances with sewer disposal without adverse negative effects on the water purification process.
This means that Thetford Aqua Kem Green and Thetford Aqua Rinse can be used under all circumstances where the waste water ends up in the regular sewage system. That goes for campgrounds, marinas (for boats), petrol stations with disposal facilities, etc.
