The world-renowned Porta Potti by Thetford has been a success in Europe and beyond for many decades. With a new pump, packaging and logo, the Porta Potti continues its journey to bring a simple and reliable sanitary solution to whatever location!
Pump
All Porta Potti 335, 345 and 365 models are now equipped with a piston pump, allowing an even easier and more powerful manual flush. The 335 is a very compact model which can be stored practically anywhere, the 345 is a medium sized model with a larger waste holding tank capacity and the 365 is family sized and has a natural seating height.
The Porta Potti 145 and 165 will continue to be provided with a bellows pump, while the luxurious Porta Potti 465 will continue to use an electric pump to flush.
Packaging
The packaging material in which the Porta Potti is presented to consumers went through a major make-over and is now refreshed and modernized. Porta Potti models are singled out by using different color schemes on the packaging material. Pictograms and illustrations visualize how to use a Porta Potti.
Logo
The initial Porta Potti logo had never been changed since the introduction onto the European market in 1971. To adjust a bit more to modern times, the logo underwent a modest make-over.
All changes will take effect on September 1. From this date on, depending on stock supplies of dealers, end-users will be able to purchase the upgraded Porta Pottis.
Thetford offers a wide range of toilet additives (fluids and sachets) to make the Porta Potti function at its utmost best. Thetford’s Aqua Soft toilet paper dissolves quickly in the waste holding tank and thus prevents clogging, instead of causing it like regular household toilet paper does.
